Wild Thing! by Dennis Sentenac
Actually named “The Thing” by its maker Volkswagen this one was caught on the scene in Houston this past December. They were made in model years 1973-1974. It’s essentially a sheet metal box on four wheels with a Beetle engine. It was laughably destructible even by the standards of its day. Not surprisingly, Ralph Nader helped its demise.
