Dear Friends and Readers:
We have been here working at alittlecommonsense since 2003. I use the word “working” advisedly. It has never been “work”. It has simply been a labor of love. Both Hannah and I have written our stories and given our opinions freely, openly. Sometimes you liked what we wrote and other times did not.
But it never was and never will be about us writing to please an audience. It was about an audience enjoying and respecting what we wrote, whether you agreed with us or not.
Whatever you thought, we gave it our best, honest and sincere try. And except for a few times due to host server problems, we never missed a publishing deadline in roughly 364 weeks. We are both proud of that.
But the time has come for both Hannah and I to concentrate our efforts on new ventures.
I am working with her to launch a new, more interactive blog, which will extol the virtues of Texas, its people, culture and customs. The content will come from me alone, although Hannah contributing something once in a while would be great.
We hope to have that up and running very soon.
As for alittlecommonsense.com, both Hannah and I want to thank you all for the support given us over the years. It has been fun.
I will send an email to you once the new site is established.
Thanks gang for seven great years.
